On the 23rd November we had a group crit session. I am finding it really helpful to get more feedback at each stage as it means if people don't think something is working quite how I want it to I can be told. Also it helps me brainstorm the next steps of my project.

From this session I got told to:

  • Continue to look at the close ups

  • Try a different mirror with a not so traditional frame and try cracking the mirror less (if that's possible)

  • If you can crack it less replicate sections of the mirror over and over - create a weird reality as it will convey how strange and confusing dreams can be???

I also got told that they like the idea of looking into dreams as they think all photographs should give a sense of a dream or day dreaming.

Throughout my second year I feel my professional practise has improved a lot. At the beginning of the year I hoped to feel more confident...
