To help inform my project I have done some brief research into dreams, later on in the project I am going to look into the psychology behind dreams to inform my ideas even further.

  • Everyone dreams every night for roughly two hours

  • As much as 95% of dreams are forgotten quickly after waking up this is because the frontal lobes (the information processing and storage parts of the brain) aren't active during sleep

  • The purpose behind dreams isn't know but it is suspected to help process emotions

  • Negative dreams are more common

  • Most people dream in colour (soft pastel colours) whilst others dream in black and white.
