To help inform my project I have done some brief research into dreams, later on in the project I am going to look into the psychology behind dreams to inform my ideas even further.
Everyone dreams every night for roughly two hours
As much as 95% of dreams are forgotten quickly after waking up this is because the frontal lobes (the information processing and storage parts of the brain) aren't active during sleep
The purpose behind dreams isn't know but it is suspected to help process emotions
Negative dreams are more common
Most people dream in colour (soft pastel colours) whilst others dream in black and white.
