I brainstormed a few ideas for what rewards we can give our contributors:

  • £5 = a shoutout on social media? Acknowledgement in our catalogue?

  • £7 = a meet the team thank you postcard with a group photo of both second and third years on which will all sign. Plus an acknowledgment in our catalogue.

  • £15 = a set of postcards. Plus acknowledgement in our catalogue?

  • £30 = small print of their choice from Instagram? Plus an acknowledgement in catalogue?

  • £50 = medium sized print of their choice from Instagram? Plus an acknowledgement in our catalogue?

They will be able to choose which photographs they want from our Instagram (this will also generate more people looking at our Instagram page).

Ideas of how to structure the video:

Start with a shot of the outside of PCA, pan down to a pair of feet and walk through the Student Union (sped up)

Then conduct the interview in the SU.

  • Talk about Free Range being the end goal, say what it is and why we are going there. Mention how we need to raise a lot of money to get there - this is why we are having the print auction

  • Throughout the interview show images of our work and behind the scenes of people working in studios and on location

  • End the video with the ISO19 logo?

Questions to think about asking/answering:

  • Who are we?

  • What are we trying to achieve? With Free Range, then the Print Action, the back to Free Range

  • How can you help?

  • How the money will be used

  • What will this mean to us?

The fundraising team as a whole needs to start discussing ideas together so that we can get the video scripted, made and posted as soon as possible so we know how much money we have to put towards the Print Auction.
