I decided to do some research on kickstarter videos so we know how to make a successful one that will get us the money we need as kickstarter has a rule that if you don't meet your target you don't get any of the money raised; so you have to be careful to not set your target too high. You will get any extra money that is raised to don't worry about having too many contributors.

Contributors need rewards!

We need to think about a variety of things that we can give back to our contributors.

How to structure the video:

First grab their attention, making sure they are captivated - good music and interesting imagery.

Explain in depth what you are doing! In the video explain the emotional side of why you are doing it, why is it important? Why should they get involved?

Finally make it known that they will have an impact! It may sound silly but make sure you actually ask for the money, don't just assume they will give you money just because they are on a crowdfunding website!
