In my crit with Amak Mahmoodian she suggested that I look at the work of Laura El-Tantawy.

Laura El-Tantawy is a British/Egyptian documentary photographer, self-publisher, writer, and experimental film-maker. She is drawn to document stories across the globe that are do with in humanity. Her first book, In the Shadow of the Pyramids, released in 2015 offers a first person perspective exploring memory and identity amid the country's political transformation.

I really like her work but its not the direction I want to go in for this project. Some of her work has a very, nostalgic, dream like and surreal feel to it which I really like, however I don't to recreate the dreams so here work isn't very inspiring for this part of my project. Nevertheless if I decide to branch out and recreate some peoples dreams I will definitely come back and look at her work in more depth.
