Nostalgia Fashion Shoot

A fashion student asked to do a shoot of her final garments for her Nostalgia project. It was a very laid back and fun shoot as it was done in a lounge as she wanted it to feel homely.

I used one Elinchrome 600s light as we had a lot of light coming in from the window and she said she wanted the images to look fairly natural.

She sent me a few pictures of what she had in mind but I had a lot of freedom to direct as she wanted me to put my own twist on it.

I was nervous to do this shoot as I haven't really done any fashion photography before but I knew both people modelling really well so that put me at ease.

She said how she would edit the images herself but mentioned how she wasn't very good at so I edited a few of them for her and helped her edit a few, teaching her some tips and tricks.
