PDP introduction

On Thursday we got briefed on our personal development practice project. It runs until 30th May and we have to make a learning diary this can be a website or journal, I have decided to make a website and I feel I need more practice in this area. For the first time ever we are helping the third years with the annual print auction on the 28th February, raising money for Free Range (a big graduate exhibition in London). They have decided to get us to work on it together in hopes that we can generate more money that we will be evenly sharing.

We will be visually responding to a mini project that we will be getting briefed on later in the year. Then maybe the most interesting part of PDP we will be doing an international research symposium where we work with Benares Hindu University in India to make an exhibition and sharing work with each other via Skype.

Finally we will be doing a Pecha Kucha presentation to help us improve our presentation skills.

I think PDP is going to be tough but a very important as knowing how to take great photos isn't the only thing you need to know to be a successful photographer.
