To help raise fund for the Free Range Exhibition at the end of our third year we are having a Print Auction. This is normally done in our third year but for the first time ever we are joining with the third years and doing it in our second year, hopefully this way we will be able to generate more money.

There are many jobs roles and I have decided to be part of the fundraising team. Initially I said I would be on the design team as well but it was there was too many people who wanted to be in that team so I deiced to pull out and say I would solely focus on fundraising as I feel like it could take up a lot of time.

Fundraising is something I have never done before so I wanted to try something new. However I feel I will be good at as I have strong communication skills, I am great at working in a team and I am good at coming up with ideas.

As part of the fundraising team team it is our job to raise the right funds so we are able to complete a successful print auction. We will need to create a kickstarter video, make little fundraising events such as bake sales and photoshoots with the public. We will need to work closely with the social media team to get the word out about the events.

It has been advised that we look at people like consultants as they have little pockets of money that they put aside to sponsor projects like this.

It is important that we make sure that we keep in touch with people that have pledged money, if they don't pay straight away we need to make sure that they pay before the print auction is supposed to take place otherwise we might end up out of pocket.
