Project Proposal

For my Weird and Wonderful project I am going to be looking at dreams. I want to do a project around dreams as I find them really intriguing and think it would make a interesting project

I am going to experiment with different ways of showing that someone is dreaming without really recreating many of the dream as you forget 95% of dreams very soon after waking up.

I have started to research some facts and research done on dreams to help inform my project. I will be talking to people about their experiences to also help inform my project. I will also be looking into the depiction of dreams in cinema as I want to try and make my images look cinematic

I will start by mainly looking into the work of Hannah Strarkey, Cody William Smith's 'A Moment's Reflection' and KangHee Kim's 'Street Errands'.

I plan to use mirrors, coloured lighting, projectors and long exposures to help convey the message that someone is dreaming.
