For this shoot I used a different mirror as it didn't like how traditional the one I currently using was. Like I said in my previous shoot I wanted to use a circular mirror as I thought that was enhance the sense of the mirror being a portal, however I couldn't find an affordable circle mirror that wasn't shatter proof.

I wanted the images to be dark and moody but they all turned out a little too dark but I was worried about getting too much motion blur, I knew that once in photoshop I could expose them more.

To combat not having a circle mirror I decided to focused in more on the mirror trying to cut out as much of the background as possible then later in photoshop cut more out further by rotating the image and filling in the gaps.
I made sure I took more care when smashing the mirror to try and avoid making to many cracks. In one of the corners it completely shattered but I fairly easily worked around it, due to the fact it was in the corner I could crop it out of the frame or zoom in on other sections.
I used a different light and lit the subject from above rather than using a portable one as I thought it would lite the subject better and be easier to move around the subject but I discovered that the new light wasn't as bright so it was harder to focus on the subject. It also meant I had to do longer exposures to get an even amount of colour in the shot, therefore there is a little bit of motion blur which isn't too much of an issue as I wanted to most of the images to be really soft as the memories of dreams are always fuzzy but I also wanted to see what the images would have looked like in sharp focus but I couldn't achieve this.
