Bring TWO examples from your practice where work has “failed” - can be yours or another artist’s
These two images failed as they didn't turn out how I wanted them to. I had a vision and I couldn't achieve it meaning the message behind the image was lost. The image on the left was supposed to be a dream in a portal but it just looks like canvas on a bed. The image on the right also failed because it looked messy and unclear the message got lost that it was supposed to be a portal to the dream. And in both images the lighting is bad so I knew for my next shoot I needed to get different lights. However If I hadn't created these then I would have never got to the images that I did like and did work so you have to fail first to then succeed.
Pick a reflective model (you can pick another or make your own if you like!) and apply it to a piece of work that you have made.
Think about what you could change for your upcoming projects, or different approaches that you could take for further works
I chose to use Gary Rolfe's adaptation of Terry Borton's reflective model.

What? - Description
My dreams project the weird and wonderful project
So What? - Theory and Knowledge
The project is about learning to add more context to our images, being more creative and trying to be more cinematic
What Next? - Action to Resolve the Situation
I haven't quite got there yet but the way my project is progressing I feel like I will get there soon if I just keep taking more photographs
I like this way of reflecting as it is a quick direct way of reflecting on my work. I will defiantly use this again in the future.
