Many young people today are not happy with the way they look. The media is known for try- ing to get us to look a certain way with the help of influencers and celebrities endorsements, creating a potentially unhealthy mindset for young people and their body image.
Echo is a project aiming to try and raise these confidence levels. Mirrors are something many people use everyday to inspect their appearance, judge and change themselves until they are satisfied with how they look. Blurring the reflection stops the judgement being able to take place, in hopes that people can come to terms with the fact it’s okay to good about yourself just way you are.
