Can you find a thing and remix/rework/reinvent it?
I decided to look at famous art works to see if I could remix them somehow as Eddie showed us some pictures of how the Mona Lisa had been remixed. I have always been a fan of The Great Wave of Kanagawa (Print by Hokusai, 1829–1832) so I looked that up first. As I was studying it and thinking about how I could alter it I decided to change the background and the idea of adding in The Starry Night ( Painting by Vincent van Gogh, June 1889) came to mind as that would add to the drama of the waves. I chose to clone out some of the black foreground as I decided it was distracting and confusing as it was taller than the waves. Also they both have a similar swirling aspect to them. As a finally I decided to add in The Scream (Pastel Painting by Edvard Munch, 1893) man to the boat for a comical touch.

As these images are all so famous everyone will know that they don't belong together but I think that adds to the comical sense of the image.
Please find one or two examples of nostalgia or and/or hauntology in a medium of your choosing (this might include film, music videos, plays, photography, video games, art, ceramics, craft, interior design, fashion, textiles, television, costume, fonts, posters, adverts, etc.).
The Peter Pan movies make me feel nostalgic as used to watch them all the time when I was little. I first watched the Disney version directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson and Hamilton Luske in 1953. Any of the Disney movies make me feel nostalgic but this one in particular does as it is my favourite. The 2003 live action version directed by P. J. Hogan makes me feel even more nostalgic because it is my all time favourite childhood film. When I watch it it brings back so many found memories it makes me long for my childhood again; which is apt because it is a story about the decision of whether to grow up or not.
